Sveta Nedilja

Sveta Nedilja is the place below the highest peak on the island Sveti Nikola, located 12 km east from the city of Hvar. Sveta Nedjilja is situated on the steep and sunny slopes of the island Hvar which makes it a famous point for the production of the best types of Hvar red wine (plavac) and also, a famous tourist destination.
The coast between Sveta Nedilja and Zavala (10 km of Sveta Nedjelja) has several little coves with wonderful fine pebble beaches. The accommodation is mainly in private apartments and houses. Pure nature and clear sea add to the special atmosphere. Fishing grounds lie to the island Scedro and the Lukavci islands.
Sveta Nedilja is a very popular free-climbing destination. There are is a small market in the village and several restaurants that serve local dishes and excellent wines.
