Vrbovska is a town and harbour in a narrow and deeply indented bay on the central part of the northern coast of the island of Hvar. Chief occupations are farming, viniculture, olive growing, fishing, fish processing and tourism. Various accommodation facilities - hotels, apartments, campsites, fine restaurants and bars, as well as sports and recreation opportunities attract many visitors to Vrboska. Cultural events and entertainment are organized during the tourist season.
